#28 Red Balloons, Shark Tanks and Abstract Art – Naomi Simson

How many great business ideas have you heard?

Today’s guest is a veteran of small business and has spent days upon days hearing business pitches both on television as an investor on the Australian Shark Tank and as part of her own business Red Balloon. Naomi Simson is passionate about leading well and having a rich life outside of work with family and friends.

Naomi is an award-winning Australian entrepreneur and business leader who started her own business with just $25,000 of her own money and has now delivered 6,500,000 experiences to customers.
Naomi founded Red Balloon in 2001 with the unique idea – to build a marketplace for experiences. This has since expanded to several small businesses under her umbrella company, Big Red Group.

Naomi is a blogger, a best-selling author, a highly sought-after speaker and a philanthropist. She’s Governor of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Director of the University of Melbourne Faculty of Business and Economics and was a popular investor on Australia’s Shark Tank.
